Donald Joseph Qualls - better known as DJ Qualls - is a model, actor, and producer from the US. After gaining acclaim for his part as a character in Road Trip, he's appeared in over 20 movies. This includes The New Guy Hustle & Flow, The Core and The New Guy Hustle & Flow. Alongside his role as a character in the film, he's appeared in over 22 TV series such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order and many more. As a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma and diagnosed when he was 14 years old. Qualls is an avid fighter. Two years after treatment, the cancer is now in the process of remission. The treatment, however, in such a short time left severe impact on his body and thwarted the development of his body. Since he grew up in the poverty of his home, he longed to attain financial stability. He said in an interview that he said that if I don't have financial stability or I feel out of control in the world, then I'm going to be unhappy. He also reflects on his childhood and hopes to address the problem of bullies. DJ states "Cruelty breaks the heart of my soul." The ideal character for him in films and in his life is that of father. But, he admits that most directors do not make him the ideal choice for those kinds of characters. He would like to have a child of his own and have the ability to dedicate more time to his work and more time with his children.
